Frank Wegloski was born and raised in the Byram section of Greenwich, Connecticut, and was one of those kids who was always around the firehouse, and always going to parades, and just never outgrew his love of fire trucks. He served as a volunteer firefighter at Byram before moving to Washington, Indiana in 1996. He has been shooting rigs since he was kid, and seriously photographing fire apparatus since about 1988. He actually managed to shoot rigs in 31 different states, and is always looking for new and different places to go.
